We know that collaboration and support is key to transforming our food system. Therefore, this series highlights a collection of our Region West's startups, featuring 3 questions and answers each. We will gain a simple understanding of the following:

Meet Vini Mini, an EIT Food startup from The Netherlands. Vini Mini offers nutritional supplements for babies made from different nuts which offer an easy, healthy and reliable way to prevent food allergies, based upon the risk profile of the baby.

Prozymi Biolabs

Meet Prozymi Biolabs, an EIT Food startup from the UK who aims to enzymatically remove immunogenic parts of gluten to enable production of gluten-free bread made from wheat, simplifying the process for the bread producers and preserving the bread's traditional texture and flavour for the consumers.

Verley

Meet Verley, an EIT Food startup based in France who specialise in precision fermentation methods to produce dairy proteins without animals.

Quas

Meet Quas, an EIT Food startup from Edinburgh who offer the UK’s most concentrated and diverse probiotic beverage, a sour-dough fermented kvass with over 500 billion probiotics per serving.

Gourmey

Meet Gourmey, an EIT Food startup from France who are a cultivated meat company. They are creating sustainable, cultivated meat from cell cultivation for a conscious generation.

Quest

Meet Quest, an EIT Food startup from the UK. Quest is developing ingredients that will make cultivated meat affordable, scalable and sustainable, producing low-cost, environmental cell culture raw materials, the building blocks for cultivated meat production.

Meet CropHound, an EIT Food startup from the UK who use sensors to monitor crops such as potatoes in real time. This helps to reduce costs and carbon footprint, while increasing quality and yield, overall helping to control produce.
