Social media

Any communication activity, infrastructure, equipment and major results related to the project funded by EIT Food, must adhere to the brand guidelines. This includes a wide variety of online communication materials such as content on social media.

Our social media policy

Projects cannot create their own social media channels to avoid loss of time and followers. When posting about EIT Food and EIT Food-funded projects, existing company-owned platforms should be used.

For more on EIT Food social media channels, check the Communications Hub with plenty of useful resources:

  • The branding guidelines also apply when posting on your corporate social media channels, meaning you will have to include the EIT Food and EU logo on the images you share.
  • How to include these logos in videos is explained in the following chapter.

Social media templates

To help you create appealing posts on social media, we have developed a range of templates and tools for you to use.
