The Menu for Change 2022 Evaluation

The FutureFoodMakers is a group of youth representatives from across Europe, appointed by EIT Food in 2021 to develop the Menu for Change manifesto outlining a set of clear actions to improve access to healthy, sustainable and affordable food. Now, their mission is to create sustainable change in the food system by raising awareness and stimulating youth-led activism.

This report links with the Menu for Change and is intended to highlight the progress made in 2022 as well as to act as a reminder that there is still much work to be done.

The Menu for Change

Young people across Europe are demanding EU wide changes to transform the food system to be more sustainable, including promoting regenerative agriculture, defining uniform nutrition and labelling guidelines, and making food systems more inclusive.

The FutureFoodMakers’ manifesto for European food sector stakeholders includes six priority calls to action - these are the key things which
they believe would drive positive change, have the most impact for more people, and make the food system better for us all.
