This project empowers vulnerable women in Kisela Voda, Skopje, by fostering agrifood entrepreneurship through AMPLE 2025’s pillars. Led by Vita Nova with the municipality and NGO NutriBalans, it offers training in business skills, sustainability, and financial literacy. Activities include workshops, mentorship, and creating inclusive networks to support women-led ventures. Targeting low-income, unemployed, and minority women, the initiative aims to train 20–30 participants and launch 1–3 businesses, improving market access and economic independence.
Why Focus on Women in Kisela Voda, Skopje?
The Municipality of Kisela Voda, a rapidly growing region in Skopje, presents both challenges and opportunities for women in agrifood entrepreneurship. Despite being 43% rural, the municipality has only 7 registered women-led agricultural businesses.
