Udruga Jedna Mladost is proud to launch AMPLE Split-Dalmatia, a social enterprise initiative that empowers young adults with disabilities through the development of food-related products and souvenirs. By opening a community concept store, we aim to provide meaningful employment opportunities, build life skills, and reduce the risk of social exclusion after education.
In collaboration with ŠKMER, Srednja Škola Braća Radić, the City of Kaštela, and the University of Split, AMPLE Split-Dalmatia and under the brand name of FAVA, we will create at least five new food related products, train 24 disadvantaged young adults in independent living skills and cooking, and establish a strong cross-sectoral network to solve local food-related problems. The project will also reach over 20,000 people through targeted communications, raising awareness of the value and potential of social enterprises.
Through this work, we aim to challenge stigma, boost local food production and sales, and demonstrate that young adults with disabilities are vital, capable contributors to their communities. AMPLE Split-Dalmatia is a sustainable model for future growth — combining local resources, expertise, and community spirit to create lasting impact.
EWA is made possible thanks to the commitment of local organisations that bring the programme to life in each country, and to the support of our sponsors. Discover the network behind EWA and how they contribute to empowering women…
