AMPLE - Olsztyn

Empowering women and building inclusive food futures

2025

The AMPLE-Olsztyn project is a comprehensive initiative supporting women, particularly those returning to work, experiencing burnout, or developing businesses in the agrifood sector. It also engages individuals at risk of social exclusion, including migrants, people with disabilities, and low-income communities.

The program combines mentoring, culinary and ecological workshops, business training, and experiential learning to help participants build sustainable careers in the food sector. It aims to foster personal empowerment, professional growth, and innovation in local food systems, focusing strongly on social and environmental responsibility.

Food Bank in Olsztyn

The Food Bank in Olsztyn (Bank Żywności w Olsztynie) is a leading Polish NGO committed to reducing food waste and fighting food poverty in the Warmian-Masurian region. It redistributes surplus food through a broad network of social welfare partners.

Beyond food aid, the organisation champions education and empowerment, especially among marginalised groups. It runs vocational training, mentoring, and workshops focused on food sustainability, entrepreneurship, and ecology. As an accredited Social Economy Support Centre, it supports inclusive employment and social entrepreneurship, fostering long-term community resilience and innovation.
