23-24 June 2026, Brussels Next Bite Satellite 2026 - Biotech

Next Bite is evolving

Next Bite, EIT Food's biennal flagship event, is taking a new shape in 2026. While the full conference will return in 2027, we're hosting two satellite gatherings in 2026 that embody the Next Bite spirit of connection and collaboration.

Each satellite event is built around a single theme and offers a more focused setting for discussions and connections with experts and engaged stakeholders. Both editions are by invitation only.

  • Biotech in Agrifood: Brussels · 23–24 June 2026
  • Resilient Agriculture: Warsaw · 28–29 October 2026

Biotech in agrifood: from innovation to adoption

Brussels · 23–24 June 2026

The first Next Bite Satellite brings together EIT Food's ecosystem in Brussels for two days of focused discussions on the role of biotechnology in transforming Europe's agrifood system. Gathering experts, innovators, policymakers, and investors, the event is designed to build momentum for the EU Agri-Food Biotech Alliance.

Sessions span the full innovation journey: from financing and collaborative R&I, to skills and talent, market uptake, and the Joint Undertaking Initiative.

Resilient agriculture

Warsaw · 28–29 October 2026

The second Next Bite Satellite turns its focus to one of the most pressing challenges facing European food systems: building resilience across agriculture. Taking place in Warsaw in October, this edition will bring together the EIT Food community to explore what it takes to create farming systems that are sustainable and fit for an uncertain future.
