TeamUp is open for the applicants who meet the following eligibility criteria:

For Tech co-founder applicants who:

    • are citizens and/or have registered company in one of the following RIS (Regional Innovation Scheme) countries: 
      • EU Member States: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain;
      • Outermost Regions: Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Réunion, Martinique, Mayotte and Saint-Martin (France), the Azores and Madeira (Portugal), and the Canary Islands (Spain);
      • Horizon Europe Associated Countries: Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Israel.
    • have received less than 60,000 EUR in funding from EIT Food in 2024;
    • have an innovative agrifood technology/solution that has a potential in contribution to one or more EIT Food’s Missions goals (EIT Food’s Missions) and/or could provide deep tech solution in field of agrifood tech;
    • have submitted a complete application in English and have a proficient level of English to participate in the TeamUp programme fully (approximately C1 level);
    • are not currently participating in EIT FAN (Food Accelerator Network) or EIT Food RisingFoodStars programme. In case they are selected in one of the above programmes during their participation in TeamUp, they will be asked to choose a preferred programme to continue.

    For Business co-founders applicants who:

      • are citizens and/or have registered company in one of the following RIS (Regional Innovation Scheme) countries:
        • EU Member States: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain;
        • Outermost Regions: Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Réunion, Martinique, Mayotte and Saint-Martin (France), the Azores and Madeira (Portugal), and the Canary Islands (Spain);
        • Horizon Europe Associated Countries: Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Israel.
      • have received less than 60,000 EUR in funding from EIT Food in 2024;
      • have experience in business development and/or entrepreneurship;
      • have submitted a complete application in English and have a proficient level of English to participate in the TeamUp programme fully (approximately C1 level);
      • are not currently participating in EIT FAN (Food Accelerator Network) or EIT Food RisingFoodStars programme. In case they are selected in one of the above programmes during their participation in TeamUp, they will be asked to choose a preferred programme to continue.
