Terra Nostra Agricultural Development Foundation
The Terra Nostra Agricultural Development Foundation was set up by practitioners of regenerative agriculture in order to share and popularise many years of experience in agricultural production allowing quality food products to be produced, using natural resources rationally, with particular care for the soil and maintaining high profitability of production. The Foundation is made up of agricultural practitioners, representatives of the scientific community, experts in agricultural inputs and qualified coordinators of programmes and projects in the agricultural sector.
It runs the Integrated Regenerative Production Programme, the aim of which is to promote and implement holistic regenerative management on farms and to raise awareness among agricultural producers and agri-food entrepreneurs about the determination of the environmental impact of agricultural production. The result of the Programme is not only a Certificate confirming the regenerative management of the farm, but also a reliable and real determination of the environmental footprint (LCA), including the carbon and water footprint of the agricultural raw materials produced.
By accurately calculating the environmental footprint and implementing the sustainable farming practices of the Regenerative Integrated Production Programme, analytical tools and monitoring systems are provided to agricultural producers to help collect, analyse and report real data on their operations. Accuracy of calculations, underpinned by actual information from agricultural production, is crucial for reliable ESG reporting in the supply chain. This, in turn, enables food companies to communicate their operations in a transparent and credible manner, increasing the reality of reported data and consumer confidence.
In order to popularise the importance of regenerative agriculture in Poland and Europe, the Terra Nostra Agricultural Development Foundation organises an original event, the BIO_REACTION International Forum on Regenerative Agriculture, which takes place every year in June.
