Seedbed Education offers a Master's Level of skills and competencies.

SEEDBED EDUCATION offers a Master Level of skills and competences, see EIT Food Learning Services for PhD students who wish to develop further in their entrepreneurial journey. The course is also part of the 6-month EIT Food incubator programme. 

This online course is organised in two stages, comprising 12 modules around various aspects of business development.  

Stage I includes four modules: 1) Food System Impact: building a business that solves current environmental and social challenges; 2) Setting your entrepreneurial mind-set: identifying the why, vision & mission and building up entrepreneurial confidence; 3) Design Thinking Fundamentals methodology; 4) Bootcamp Lean Startup Fundamentals focusing on clear value propositions, winning business models, digital testing and market discovery methodologies.  

The bootcamp culminates in a pitch competition, where the 40 best performing teams continue to the prestigious EIT Food Seedbed Incubator programme (Stage II). 

Stage II focuses on: Business Models, Investment Spectrum, Legal & IP, Financials and key value drivers, Communications and Storytelling, Negotiations, Team Building and Leadership. Self-learning modules are coupled with interactive workshops & one-to-one sessions tailor-made to the needs of the trainees.
