Spanish EWA 2025 cohort gathers in Seville for a transformative Masterclass
The EWA 2025 cohort in Spain took an important step forward with a two-day Masterclass in Seville. Combining leadership training, group cohesion and exposure to national innovation networks, the event strengthened participants’ projects and their role as changemakers in the agrifood sector.
As part of the Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) initiative by EIT Food, the Spanish 2025 cohort came together in Seville on 25–26 September for a Masterclass hosted by Universidad Loyola. The two-day event marked a key milestone in their entrepreneurial journey, combining high-quality training, peer-to-peer exchange, and a deep reflection on the values that unite all participants.
Training and group cohesion
The training was led by Ana LĂłpez Sousa, a coach specialising in communication and leadership, who guided the entrepreneurs in defining the identity and mission of their projects. Through this reflective work, participants explored the values that will underpin the growth of their businesses. The session also played a vital role in consolidating the group, strengthening bonds among participants and laying the foundations for the final stage of the programme.
Team building and participation in Al-Andalus Innovation Venture
Across two intensive days, the entrepreneurs engaged in team-building activities designed to foster collaboration and mutual support. In addition, some participants attended the Al-Andalus Innovation Venture, a leading forum for innovation, scaleups, investment and entrepreneurship. With a special focus on women’s entrepreneurship and the work of EIT Food, the event offered valuable opportunities to learn, share experiences and connect with key actors in the innovation ecosystem.
