Last 4th of October EIT Food in collaboration with the Sustainable Processes Research Institute, the Bioeconomy Institute and the Sustainable Forest Processes Research Institute, organised a workshop that aimed at putting researchers and PhD students in contact with experts to help them develop "saleable" proposals to companies, based on the technologies in which these researchers are working on.

The Regional Government has earmarked almost 16 million euros to strengthen the international positioning of research structures of excellence since the programme started. This was stated by the Regional Minister of Education, Rocío Lucas, at the opening of a conference aimed at the formulation of attractive proposals for the business sector by the Community's structures of excellence in the field of circular economy and the industrial implementation of carbon-neutral processes. "I am convinced that this conference will add value to their research results" Lucas added.

The programme strengthens participation in the European Union's R&D Framework Programmes, improving the Community's weight in these programmes.
