Digital Twin Management

Food safety is one of the major concerns in food production. Improving tracking & tracing especially for the management of food safety events can lead to a faster reaction time and elimination of potentially hazardous products, thus prevention of food borne illnesses and loss of lives.

An additional advantage is the possible reduction of unnecessary waste. We will extend the infrastructure at Givaudan and Strauss and the digital twin platform set up in 2018 for collecting additional information relevant for food safety and for analyzing root causes of such events. Relevant stakeholders shall be identified and solutions for their digital integration shall be developed.
