Request for Proposals: Podcast Services and Ambassador Management

EIT Food are seeking an agency or freelancer who can provide valuable support for the Brand & Digital team in Podcast Management & Development, Talent & Changemaker Management, and Branding & Commercialisation. The required services are detailed below:

Podcast Management & Development 

  1. Lead on the development and organisation of exciting and insightful Food Fight podcast episodes that delight our key stakeholder groups, including developing podcast formats, research, script writing, guest booking, key takeaways and social media post crafting. 
  2. Work closely with our podcast agency to ensure high-quality production and distribution of podcast episodes that adhere to the brand's voice and message. 
  3. Plan and execute podcast monetisation and development strategies for EIT Food, ensuring revenue growth and audience expansion. Explore opportunities for the podcast to be a tool for warm introduction/lead generation for new partners & funders. 
  4. Collaborate with Brand & Digital Manager and Brand & Content Manager to align podcast content with the overall mission-led brand strategy and marketing initiatives, exploring the potential to embed the podcast as hero content in our overall content approach. 
  5. Working with the Digital Communications Manager and Brand & Content Manager, develop a process for filming podcasts to be used as hero content on our YouTube channel, optimising content, SEO, and engagement to increase subscribers and drive audience engagement. 
  6. Collaborate with core agencies to amplify podcast and cross-platform content exposure through media outreach and strategic partnerships.  
  7. Explore the potential for a dedicated Food Fight Podcast newsletter with the Community Manager to alert subscribers/potential subscribers to latest episodes and key takeaways. 
  8. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for podcast monetisation, and cross-platform content to measure success and identify areas for improvement. 
  9. Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations in podcasting, YouTube, and digital content, analysing approaches of potential partners and competitors, implementing best practices to drive continuous growth and innovation. 

Talent & Changemaker Management 

  • Nurture a talent pool of Changemakers, identifying potential partnerships and opportunities (both internal and external) to enhance the brand's impact and visibility. 
  • Design an approach that makes best use of the Food Fight Podcast as a Changemakers/talent management tool e.g. identifying key internal startups with external content opportunities based on their profile/content area. 
  • Monitor and analyse KPIs for Changemaker nurturing through the engagement funnel to measure success and identify areas for improvement. 

Branding & Commercialisation

  • Working alongside internal teams to explore the commercialisation process of EIT Food, exploring new business opportunities and driving revenue generation via the Brand & Digital team. 
  • Develop an EIT Food chatbot/AI to be trained on EIT Food approved material for public use; develop a marketing and commercialisation plan as appropriate.  
  • Assist in the development and execution of creative marketing campaigns, leveraging podcast content and cross-platform initiatives to reach target audiences effectively. 
  • Actively engage with the EIT Food community and stakeholders, fostering relationships, and seeking feedback to refine content strategies and cater to audience preferences. 
  • Participate in regular team meetings and collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to content creation and distribution. 

Support with additional branding and communication services as required.
