The fourth edition of RIS Government Executive Academy is attended by 42 participants from 18 countries (from 28 RIS countries) participating in a very intensive MBA-type program.

The pilot edition of RIS Research Infrastructure Network 2021 includes 21 participants from 3 countries participating in multi-day workshops and online mentoring sessions. Both programs are led by leading European experts in research and innovation management in the agri-food industry.

The Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw is ranked in the "A" research category of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, being a leading research institution in the field of management. Can boast highly praised international accreditations confirming the quality of education: EQUIS, AMBA, CEEMAN, 5 PALMES and memberships of international organizations such as: European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the Central and the East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN) and the Baltic Sea Region University Network (BSRUN).

EIT Food is a European Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC), part of the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT), which was set up to transform our food ecosystem. It is a consortium of partners from leading businesses, universities, research centers and institutes across 15 countries in Europe, with the ambition to create a future proof and effective food sector through a connected food system.

These two institutions via EIT Food PSRAL delivers capacity building and professional education in RIS countries in Central & Eastern and Southern Europe.

Two of EIT Food RIS PSRAL partnership programs are delivered by University of Warsaw and EIT Food with support of Danone Nutricia Research, DIL German Institute of Food Technologies, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and BIOAZUL:

Government Executive Academy is an executive-level training program for public sector representatives from countries covered by EIT RIS (https://eit.europa.eu/our-activities/eit-regional-innovation-scheme), deepening their knowledge of agri-food innovations and sectoral regulation.

Research Infrastructure Network in 2021 (pilot implementation) supports scientific organizations that own agri-food research infrastructures. It provides participants with interactive training and dedicated support based on best practices to enhance the commercial use and visibility of their publicly funded research infrastructure.

The final session of the GEA and RIN will bring together both training programmes. Teams will present their project in front of experts and delegations from European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT), EIT Food, EIT Food partners, and officials from Central, Southern and Eastern European countries.

It is particularly significant that EIT Food RIS RIN is taking place for the first time, and the goal set by the University of Warsaw and EIT Food is to achieve recognition at the level of EIT Food RIS GEA, which had its fourth edition this year, already.

The final session will be presented in the open online form via Zoom on December 1st, 2021 (session in English).
