Research - Industry Disruptor

As EIT Food Portugal Hub Manager, BGI is pleased to invite you to this hybrid workshop, on the 10th of July (online) and 18th of July (on-site in Lisbon), organised in collaboration with the National Innovation Agency (ANI) and Instituto Superior Técnico.

The objective of this workshop is to establish connections between research projects that have achieved a high Technology Readiness Level (TRL) but are not yet available in the market, and relevant industries. By doing so, we aim to minimize the disparity between academic research and market implementation.

During the workshop, participants will not only receive training but also engage in networking sessions. These sessions offer a unique opportunity to present your research project to prominent companies in the agri-food sector of Portugal. By participating, you can gain recognition for your project, immerse yourself in Portugal's vibrant knowledge and entrepreneurial ecosystem, and explore ways to showcase and pitch your research outcomes beyond the confines of the laboratory, thereby facilitating their entry into the market.
