READJUST

Just Transition to a Green and Digital Future for All

2024
2027
External EIT Food Project

The overall objective of READJUST is to provide tools for policymakers to appraise and address inequalities that come about or that are exacerbated as a result of policies relating to the twin transition (green and digital). The focus is on identifying areas where certain groups may be disadvantaged and to develop strategies to mitigate the unintended consequences of policies.

The case study to be conducted in agrifood concentrates on the production side, in particular the transition to regenerative agriculture practices, and the role of technology and education to mediate the transition.

The tools developed by the READJUST project have relevance for EIT Food in that they will help to ensure that the shift to greener and more digital food systems does not increase inequalities but instead promotes fairness, inclusion, and trust.

READJUST Survey Explores Technology Adoption in Farming

What is the survey about?

The READJUST survey explores how farmers across Europe use digital technologies and the barriers they face. The results will help shape fair, inclusive, and practical EU policies for agricultural digitalisation, benefiting farms of all sizes.

Who can participate?

All farmers in Europe are welcome to take part in this short online, anonymous survey (15min). READJUST is especially interested in insights from small and medium-scale farms who may encounter more challenges in adopting technology, but every perspective matters.

The survey is available in 9 languages: English, German, Spanish, Finnish, French, Greek, Italian, Dutch, and Polish.
