Profile

Making food happen for generations to come

The traditional linear agrifood chain from farmer to consumer, including food processing industry, food service and retail, is evolving towards an ecosystem of stakeholders that mutually influence each other. Within this system the importance of collaboration increases, especially within innovation. Flanders’ FOOD facilitates this collaboration in all possible ways, across value chains, borders and different sectors.

As spearhead cluster for the agrifood industry, we unite the innovative strengths of companies, knowledge institutes and innovation actors, with the aim to strengthen the competitiveness of the Flemish food industry and to become a worldwide reference.
