Register for workshops organized by TERA Tehnopolis as part of the Sustainability Festival!
TERA Tehnopolis d.o.o., the EIT Food HUB from Croatia, in the cooperation with the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, the University of Split, the Cultural and Development Center of the Municipality of Bilje, the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega, the Food and the Faculty of Technology in Osijek, the Biology Department of J. J. Strossmayer University in Osijek, is organizing the first Sustainability Festival in Osijek!
The festival will be held from September 13 to 18, 2023 in Osijek and Bilje, and the goal is to present the achievements of the academic community in contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals. During the Sustainability Festival, workshops and lectures will be organized for the target audience: for primary and secondary school students, then for students, future entrepreneurs, start-up companies, entrepreneurs in later growth and development, family farms, innovators and researchers.
The goal of the Sustainability Festival is to connect the world of science, art and pleasure! As part of the Sustainability Festival, TERA Tehnopolis d.o.o. will organize the workshop "Encouraging innovation in the agricultural and food sector with business sustainability", on 13th September 2023. The goal of the event is to encourage participants to think innovatively and to provide the necessary information about currently available EU programs and funding opportunities. As part of the event, one of the programs that will be presented is the EIT Food initiative and information related to the currently open EIT Food tenders. Also, the topics that will be covered are the digitization of rural areas through the dRural project and the internationalization of business through the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) project.

The workshop "Combining food and wine through the business internationalization and digitalization" is intended for the wine sector, and will be held on 14th September 2023. Some of the topics that will be covered are generating ideas, encouraging entrepreneurial thinking, then providing important information related to the possibility of internationalizing the business of entrepreneurs from the wine sector, with the use of the Enterprise Europe Network base for business cooperation and finding foreign partners. Emphasis is placed on the use of digital tools in business, and a virtual marketplace of healthy products and services will be presented, enabling users to directly sell their eco products, and customers to purchase quality ecological products.

At the workshop "Funding possibilities through open calls" the currently open EU calls will be presented, with an emphasis on programs and projects implemented by TERA Tehnopolis d.o.o. The workshop will be held on 15th September 2023.
