Hosted exclusively for EIT Food Strategic and Delivery Partners, the event proved to be a pivotal platform for fostering collaboration and innovation within our community.

Around 60 strategic and delivery partners from the whole European ecosystem of EIT Food attended a Networking and Consortium Building Workshop last April 15 in the B Accelerator Tower | BAT in Bilbao City Centre.

Participants seized the opportunity to refine and finalise ideas for funding in EIT Food Impact Funding Framework, showcasing their dedication to driving meaningful change in the food innovation landscape.

Led by EIT Food new CEO, Richard Zaltzman, Jayne Brookman the Chief Partnership Director and Begoña Villarreal, the Director EIT Food South Region, the workshop provided a holistic environment for constructive dialogue and strategic planning.

The Partners' Time segment witnessed 8 compelling pitches from the EIT Food partners - Building Global Innovators (BGI), MATIS, IAFR, the University of Reading, the University of Turin, the University of Warsaw, Zertifier, the EIT Food Protein Diversification Think Tank - demonstrating the wealth of innovative ideas and projects within our network. Informal networking sessions and insightful discussions paved the way for future collaborations and partnerships, ensuring that the momentum generated at the workshop continues to drive impactful initiatives forward.

EIT Food applauded all participants for their active engagement and contribution to making this workshop a resounding success.

As the Organisation looks ahead, we are excited about the possibilities that arise from the connections forged and ideas exchanged during this event.
