EIT Jumpstarter is an innovative startup support program, offering pre-acceleration of innovative ideas generated by teams from multiple technology fields, through a joint collaboration by 6 communities of EIT (EIT Food, EIT RawMaterials, EIT Health, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Manufacturing, EIT UrbanMobility).

The teams will now embark on their learning process to deepen their entrepreneurial skills and enhance their business ideas with the help of experts. In the following steps, the startup founders will focus on preparing their business pitches that will be presented during a demo day in the middle of June 2022. 15 teams from each category will be invited to join the Local Joint Training in 12 locations across Europe, where they will be working on further refinement of their business models. At the end of the year, the best startups will participate in the Grand Finals, competing for the EIT Jumpstarter Prizes.

The award-winning program of EIT Jumpstarter has been organized since 2017 and supports early-stage startup teams from EIT RIS eligible countries in the development of their businesses. It leverages the startup support potential of the EIT community, by orchestrating joint business creation and acceleration efforts and leveraging the resources of local incubators and accelerators across Europe.
