About EWA Programme
The EIT Food EWA - Empowering Women for Agrifood programme is a project that seeks to promote female entrepreneurship in the agrifood sector, with the aim of increasing the presence of women in positions of business responsibility and thus reduce the existing gender gap in the area.
It is a 6-month incubation programme, which offers continuous support to the selected entrepreneurs, specific training and personalised business mentoring for their business idea. The participants have also the opportunity to win prizes of up to 10,000 euros.
Spanish startups that have participated in the EWA programme will also be showcasing their products and services at Innoveit on October 5, EIT’s flagship event that reunites EIT-supported entrepreneurs and innovators to solve global food challenges.
