Why should I attend this event?

  • Build consortia to develop solutions and opportunities for the EIT Food 2023 Open Innovation Call
  • Engage with an expert multistakeholder panel on the role of livestock in achieving a net zero food system and participate in a Q&A session
  • Discover game-changing startups and ask them questions about their innovations to kickstart new collaborations
  • Join a networking break, and meet large companies, policymakers, academics and startups.

On the 16th of March in Dublin, this in-person event will explore the role of livestock as part of one of EIT Food’s missions, “A net-zero food system.”

An impressive multi-stakeholder panel (including industry, academics, and the government), will be discussing and exploring the intersections of regenerative agriculture, carbon sequestration, animal health, and the role of livestock in achieving net-zero targets. Attendees are invited to join the discussion through a session of Q&A.

Networking sessions will also take place, allowing attendees to build relations with startups working within this space and learn more about their prominent solutions. Relevant startups will be provided with the opportunity to pitch their businesses and present areas for further collaboration.

The aim is to build consortia for the EIT Food 2023 Open Innovation Call and to network with large companies, startups, and other stakeholders in the livestock sector.

If you have any questions about this event or would like to find out more information, please contact Dr Paula Almiron (paula.almiron@eitfood.eu)

Disclaimer: Unfortunately, numbers will be limited due to space and workshop constraints. We will aim to ensure all stakeholders in the food system are represented, so not all registrations will be allocated a place in the workshop. Please register early, and we will be in touch to confirm places.
