Overview

EIT Food seeks an experienced facilitator to support and drive the activities of the EIT Food Healthy Ageing Think & Do Tank in 2025. The facilitator will play a central role in managing and reporting on meetings and workshops, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with EIT Food’s objectives in Healthy Ageing.

About the Think & Do Tank

The EIT Food Healthy Ageing Think & Do Tank fosters innovation to align the food system with the needs of ageing populations. Key thematic areas include:

  1. Preventing Age-Related Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) through Diets.
  2. Targeted Approaches for Healthy Ageing.
  3. Enhancing Wellbeing through Microbiome Health.

The facilitator will work with EIT Food leaders to organise activities such as three in-person plenary meetings, three online sessions, and ad-hoc task forces.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Management:
    • Align activities with EIT Food’s strategies.
    • Manage workflows, communication, and logistics for events.
    • Monitor and report progress.
  • Communication:
    • Maintain consistent communication with members and stakeholders.
    • Create and manage documentation and content.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Engage with external stakeholders and identify collaboration opportunities.
    • Represent the Think Tank at events.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English.
  • Expertise in agriculture, nutrition, and health.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and project management.
  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills.
