RFP – Development of an Interactive 3D Augmented Reality Learning Simulation
EIT Food Education is seeking an expert partner to design, develop, and deploy a pioneering interactive 3D Augmented Reality (AR) model of a regenerative agriculture farm. This simulation will become a central feature of EIT Food’s new upskilling model and advance our mission to transform the food system through innovation, sustainability, and education.
The selected partner will co-create this future-proof learning tool through a collaborative, iterative development process, working alongside EIT Food experts and stakeholders. The model will be built to:
-
Demonstrate regenerative practices interactively with real-time feedback,
-
Support learning across levels—from new entrants to seasoned professionals,
-
Enable broad access through a web-based platform with AR/VR capabilities,
-
Include a built-in SaaS infrastructure for licensing, commercialisation, and future scalability.
The project will run from May to December 2025, funded through cascade funding under the KAVA framework, with up to €160,000 available. Proposals must include a strong financial sustainability strategy.
Applicants must demonstrate expertise in immersive educational technology, 3D and AR content development, and pedagogical alignment with EIT Food’s Competency Framework and sustainability mission.
This RFP document outlines the scope of work, evaluation criteria, and submission guidelines. Proposals will be reviewed based on innovation, educational impact, feasibility, and alignment with EIT Food’s strategic goals.
We look forward to collaborating with a visionary partner who shares our commitment to sustainable food systems and learner-centered innovation.
