EIT Food is seeking experienced organisations to become Implementing Participants of the EIT Food Accelerator Network (EIT FAN) for the 2027-2028 programme period. EIT FAN currently operates through a network of thematic startup acceleration Hubs across Europe, and this call aims to expand the network by selecting two additional Implementing Participants to deliver acceleration programmes focused on Circular Solutions for Food Systems and Nutrition Innovation & Food as Medicine

Selected organisations will deliver startup acceleration Hubs supporting high-potential agrifood startups through technology validation, business growth, corporate engagement, and investment readiness activities. The project implementation period runs from January 2027 to December 2028.

Key responsibilities of selected Implementing Participants include:

  • Scouting, attracting, and selecting high-potential agrifood startups aligned with the Hub theme.
  • Delivering a 2-3 month hybrid acceleration programme combining workshops, mentoring, networking activities, and tailored startup support.
  • Facilitating connections with corporates, investors, research organisations, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
