EIT Food and Swiss Food Research (SFR) are seeking a qualified agency or contractor to support the development of an Intellectual Property (IP) Management Toolbox tailored to the food and agritech innovation ecosystem. This project responds to increasing demand from startups, SMEs, researchers, and innovation intermediaries for structured, accessible guidance on IP protection, management, and valorisation. The Toolbox will take the form of a whitepaper-style report accompanied by data visualisations and downloadable content.

The chosen supplier will work with EIT Food and SFR to:

  • Design a framework (survey/template) for structured data collection
  • Identify and engage key contributors across the EIT Food West Region
  • Compile and harmonise submissions
  • Conduct complementary desk research to fill gaps
  • Produce a high-quality, written report and visual assets
  • Support a communications campaign and launch of the Toolbox

The geographic scope is limited to the EIT Food West region: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Iceland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Future editions are expected in other EU Regions.It is expected that the toolbox prototype will not be fully comprehensive, but sufficiently curated and credible to:

  • Spark community engagement
  • Showcase existing expertise
  • Provide value to early users
  • Establish a scalable blueprint for future editions
