Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) programme 2025 is looking for 130 women entrepreneurs from Albania, Estonia, Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Türkiye, and Ukraine with an early-stage agrifood business or a strong business idea ready to grow.

Over 6 months (June to November 2025), selected participants will join an intensive programme that offers:

  • Training to strengthen entrepreneurial skills;
  • 1:1 mentoring from experienced professionals;
  • Networking opportunities to connect with the agrifood ecosystem;
  • Financial support up to €12,000, including participation grants and final prize grants (up to €10,000).

The programme aims to empower women in the agrifood sector, help them overcome challenges, and boost the creation of sustainable businesses aligned with EIT Food’s missions: healthier lives through food, a net-zero food system, and a fair, resilient food system.
