EIT Food knows that the legal and financial hurdles of startup life can be very challenging. In fact, recent statistics demonstrate that a failure to manage finances well and address legal issues are responsible for around half of all startup failures.

To help brilliant agrifood startups avoid these difficulties, EIT Food offers up to €2,500 to early stage entrepreneurs to help with specific legal and accounting challenges.

The grants are available for early stage agrifood startups from Eastern and Southern Europe. The selected companies will receive up to €2,500 to reimburse the costs of the services such as company incorporation, intellectual property protection, trademark and permit registration, accounting and other.

The application deadline for the program is September 30, 2020 with new applications being evaluated every two months. Startups are encouraged to apply early due to the limited amount of grants.

More information on the grant, eligible countries and regions and the application form are available on this page. For questions please contact RIS Startup Support Manager Yulia Bodnar (yulia.bodnar@eitfood.eu).
