As part of the Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) programme by EIT Food, the 2025 Greek mentees gathered at OTE Academy in Athens for an inspiring in-person Masterclass on women’s leadership, innovation and sustainability in the agrifood sector. Organised by AWomanCanBe.org, the local implementer of EWA in Greece, the event provided participants with valuable insights from leading women entrepreneurs and opportunities to connect with peers across the agrifood ecosystem.

The event began with a live discussion titled “Women in Coffee, Agrifood and Entrepreneurship”, where leading professionals shared their perspectives on innovation, sustainable production and business growth. The session was held on 1 October – International Coffee Day, within the framework of a wider industry event celebrating coffee culture and entrepreneurship in Greece.

Following the panel discussion, mentees had the opportunity to meet the speakers in person, exchange ideas and network. These conversations provided a valuable platform to connect with women role models whose experiences and insights continue to inspire collaboration and future entrepreneurial growth.
