EWA Programme applications are open for women entrepreneurs in Southern European Countries

Women from Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and TĂĽrkiye can now apply to participate in the fifth edition of Empowering Women in Agrifood Programme.

EIT Food south is excited to announce that applications are now open for the fifth edition of the EIT Food Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) Programme. Women entrepreneurs from Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and TĂĽrkiye are invited to apply and take advantage of this unique opportunity to accelerate their careers and businesses in the agrifood sector. 

This year, the programme is expanding its reach to 12 countries, including these 5 Southern European countries. A total of 120 talented female entrepreneurs will be selected to participate, provided they have launched their agrifood-related businesses or projects within the past two years.

How to apply?

Super easy! To fill an online application form in a local language please go directly to the F6S application platform and apply for specific country at the link below (access via Typeform):

Selected participants will receive six months of continuous support, including specific online training and personalised business mentoring. Additionally, they will have access to investors, experts, and corporates to help take their businesses to the next level. Beneficiaries also have the chance to win prizes of up to 10,000 euros, further incentivizing participation and success.

The EWA Programme aims to address the current gender disparity in the agrifood industry by providing support, training, and mentoring to women entrepreneurs. Over the past four years, the programme has successfully empowered more than 370 female entrepreneurs, offering them the tools and resources they need to succeed in the sector.
