The recent masterclass of the Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) 2024 programme in Greece provided a powerful platform for mentees and mentors to engage with distinguished female leaders and entrepreneurs in the agrifood sector. Organised by AWomanCanBe.org, this event showcased innovation, facilitated meaningful discussions, and fostered valuable networking opportunities.

During the masterclass, mentees and mentors of the EWA 2024 programme attended impactful presentations from leading women who have excelled through their innovative ideas and agrifood startups. Irini Spanoulis from KARPOLOGIO, Angeliki Drakou from Grizo & PRASINO, and Anastasia Kritikou from Track 4 Value shared their inspiring stories and business journeys, offering insights and practical experiences that resonated deeply with the participants.

The event extended beyond presentations, sparking a vibrant exchange of ideas, experiences, and stories among attendees. This interactive discussion created a nurturing environment for entrepreneurs taking their first steps in the field, encouraging collaboration and mutual support.

A special thank you goes to Xenia Galetsi from Grande Fructus and Sotiroula Efthymiadou from Mellas Honey for their active participation, further enriching the event with their expertise and perspectives.

Building a stronger agrifood network

This final masterclass underscored the power of community, knowledge exchange, and connection within the agrifood sector. By providing a platform for these dynamic interactions, the EWA programme continues to empower women to innovate, lead, and make a lasting impact.
