ESG PRO: A New EIT Community Programme for Climate-Risk Readiness
A novel initiative, ESG PRO, is set to transform the way corporations approach sustainability and innovation, offering a robust framework for mastering climate-risk readiness through open innovation practices. Sponsored by the EIT Israel Hub, this programme is a conduit for fostering synergies between the Israeli innovation ecosystem and the European Union's expansive resources.

ESG PRO is an EIT Community programme providing Corporate Sustainability & Innovation Managers with a comprehensive understanding and prioritization of their corporate climate risks from a business perspective. Using open innovation, ESG PRO identifies and implements solutions to pressing risks thereby contributing to their organization’s sustainability objectives and road map.
ESG PRO Innovation Journey
Becoming an ESG PRO enables corporate ESG teams to set realistic, ambitious, and long-term decarbonization goals. The programme offers a clear roadmap for identifying and prioritizing climate risk challenges and solutions, thereby aiding organizations in achieving their sustainability objectives.
Disruptive Climate Solutions
The programme offers customized scouting from the Israeli startup ecosystem, renowned for its high-quality sustainable technologies.
Shape Your PoC
ESG PRO provides support during all stages of PoC – from planning and design to execution and measuring success.
ESG PRO Diploma
Participants will receive a diploma upon successful completion of the programme, certifying them as experts in ESG and sustainability.
Eligibility & Commitments
ESG PRO is designed for European corporations that meet the following criteria:
- Based in an EU member state or Horizon Europe Associated countries
- Over 500 employees, and/or €80M annual revenue
- A dedicated senior project manager in an innovation-related role
- Availability throughout the process, which can take 3-7 months
Finance
The ESG PRO programme is valued at €50,000 per participating company. However, due to European funding supports, participation costs have been reduced to:
- €14,000 for European Corporates
- €12,000 for EIT KIC Partners & RIS Countries
Next Steps
Interested parties are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as the application window closes on 28 June 2024.
Eligible companies will be interviewed, and successful candidates will begin the programme with a Corporate workshop in CEE in September.
