EIT Food field study forum: “DEEP DIVE VIPAVSKA DOLINA 2022”

The field study forum, organized by EIT Food HUB Slovenia - National meeting point for innovation and entrepreneurship in agri-food, will be held in the Vipava region this year and is entitled "Deep dive Vipava valley 2022". The purpose of the event is to connect the key actors of Vipava's agri-food industry, to activate young people and to encourage a public debate on the possibilities of developing the agricultural and food sector in Vipava. 

The event will take place in cooperation with local companies, the local community of the Municipality of Ajdovščina and the Regional Development Agency ROD Ajdovščina.

How can you participate?

You can participate in "DEEP DIVE VIPAVSKA DOLINA 2022" and/or as an active participant in the two-day field study forum or as a participant - listener of individual sections. To participate in the event, prior registration is required: https://cutt.ly/BZhHdyp

28 and 29 September 2022 | Two-day field study forum

The field study forum is intended for students. The field forum begins on September 28 with a tour of four partner food companies (Agricultural Forestry Institute Nova Gorica, Leone, Mlinotest and Fructal) with the aim of getting to know the current issues and challenges that individual companies face. After the tour, work in groups will follow, where students with different prior knowledge will look for potential solutions and improvements. Present the results of the group work on September 29 at the Public discussion Forum "Vipava agro-food: where and how?"

The individual events are intended for everyone who is interested in the topic of innovative start-up companies and agri-food in the Vipava Valley.

28.09.2022 | "Meet Vipava's agro-food startups"

Location: Vipava cross, castle basement

The following will be presented: RRA ROD Ajdovščina, Primorska Technology Park, Pelicon, Uroš and Valentina, Žan Bric – Frlan farm, Golden ring and Santei. Their presentations are followed by the guest of the evening: Zmago Petrič, owner of the Guerila wine cellar.

29.09.2022 | Entrepreneurship workshop for young talents

Location: Vipava High School

| EIT Food Hub Slovenia public discussion forum entitled "Vipava agro-food: where and how?"

Location: Youth Hotel Ajdovščina, event hall

The public forum is the final event of the study forum, which is divided into two parts. In the first part, the students will present their reflections on the set challenges, and in the second part, a round table with interesting guests will take place.
