ABOUT THE EVENT

EIT Food's mission is to foster food innovation, improve nutrition, and make food systems more resource-efficient, secure, transparent and trusted. To achieve this goal we are bringing all players together to guide and accelerate the innovation process. The virtual lunch series is designed as a space for inspirational exchange, mutual learning and collaboration between industry and research partners as well as Europe’s top-notch Agrifood Startups. Participation in the EIT Food Business Lunch gives you the opportunity to learn about the most promising agrifood solutions, discover fresh ideas and gather inspiration from the key experts in the food industry.  

This time EIT Food CLC North-East together with Food Nation and the EIT Food Network Partners: Food & Bio Cluster Denmark and Business Region Aarhus will put a spotlight on the Danish innovative food sector and Danish plant-based start-ups. 

Denmark is a global role model for sustainable food production and innovation. Across the food value chain, collaborative efforts aim for the most efficient use of natural resources – with a strong focus on the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Its innovative and knowledge-intensive food sector is built on the strong tradition of collaboration between companies, authorities and research institutions.
