'We are still a little far from cutting the goal of parity, but we cannot give up'
It the article written by Débora, it is mentioned that in 1975 United Nations officially implemented International Women's Day, which is celebrated on March 8. It is remarkable that 48 years later full parity between women and men had already happened in Portugal society. 'A lot of way has already been traveled, but no, it's still up to us to cut the goal.' suggested Débora.
'As a society we must promote the neutralisation of the gender pay gap associated with our companies and industries, looking for professional profiles regardless of gender. Reducing the gender pay gap in families will also make it possible to neutralise the differences in effort rates associated with invisible work (domestic and family).' points out Débora.
