About Challenge Labs
Challenge Labs is an initiative designed to address critical issues in Ukraine’s agri-food sector. By organizing education and innovation activities, we aim to foster startups that can create solutions for the challenges facing the agri-food and agritech sectors during these uncertain times.
One of this year’s editions – the AgriFood Innovation Camp, EIT Food organizes in collaboration with corporate accelerator Radar Tech, and consulting company CIVITTA Ukraine. This edition is focused on uniting promising startups to develop innovative solutions, promote entrepreneurship, and ensure sustainability amidst the ongoing war, energy shortages, and economic uncertainty.
Join the AgriFood Innovation Camp
AgriFood Innovation Camp was launched to support Ukrainian agri-food startups. Participants will join an online bootcamp, receive expert support, and prepare for the final pitch at the huge offline event in the Ukrainian capital.
Selected startups will have the chance to refine their solutions, strengthen business models, and gain insights into international market entry and fundraising. Top ideas will be pitched to key market players and investors including MHP, Enzym Group, and HD-group at the New Food Summit 2024. Participants of the AgriFood Innovation Camp will also have the opportunity to receive mentoring from bootcamp experts for an additional 1.5 months following the summit. For more information, visit the AgriFood Innovation Camp webpage.
"Our mission is to identify and help to implement innovative ideas in the agri-food business. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch their solutions to key market participants at the New Food Summit and attract investment, in addition to acquiring new knowledge and contacts and receiving training. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to receive mentoring support even after the program concludes”
