The flagship programmes of EIT Food have opened their 2023 call for new applicants. We’d like to offer you the opportunity to learn more about the Food Accelerator network programme (FAN) and answer any questions you may have related to the programme.

  • Overview

The EIT Food Accelerator Network programme delivered in Bilbao aims to develop the science, technologies and knowledge needed to support a resilient food system through carbon-zero farming, sustainable and regenerative agriculture. We accelerate agrifood tech startups, help to validate their technology and offer training, education, coaching, investment opportunities and access to the world’s largest food innovation community.

Bilbao's Achieving Carbon Zero Farming-themed EIT Food Accelerator Network programme stimulates innovation, knowledge and the development of new economic, environmental and social approaches. From carbon monitoring tools, and precision agriculture to improving livestock breeding, soil health, biodiversity, water quality and nutrient cycling, we support startups and innovations that help to develop more sustainable agricultural practices and food distribution systems.

During these informative webinars, our team will inform you about the benefits of joining the EIT Food Accelerator Network and how the programme will run, and the outcoming opportunities for you and your startup. We will also explain the Net Zero Carbon Farming challenge in more detail and the partners that will be involved. We will help you assess if this programme is a good fit for your startup.

Following a 15-minute presentation, we will leave plenty of time for questions.

The host of the sessions is EIT Food South (Bilbao, Spain).
