VINIDEA is a micro enterprise based in Northern Italy but active in all main wine producing regions of the world.

We act as interface between research, production and auxiliary industry, fostering the introduction of innovative technologies in grape growing and wine making, and their transfer and replication among regions.

Competences & Capabilities

VINIDEA activity is carried out along three axes:

  • Innovation in grape & wine production: Vinidea is actively contributing to technology solution conception, multi- actor consortium creation, proposal editing, activity implementation and outcome exploitation in several project at regional (16 projects in 5 Italian regions), national (2 projects) and European (17 under programs FP7, H2020, Horizon, LIFE) level
  • Dissemination of scientific and technical information through organisation of ENOFORUM biennial conference in Italy, Spain, Portugal and USA, seminars, webinars, workshops and educational tours etc. attended every year on average by 3,000 wine industry stakeholders from 40 countries
  • Publication of the Internet Journal of Viticulture and Enology INFOWINE (ISSN 1826-1590) edited in 6 languages, with 300.000 visitors/year and 45.000 registered users
