Nutrition for life

The Nutrition for Life Group of Excellence aims and guides the improvement of people's lives throughout their life cycle, based on better nutrition and lifestyles, among other positive vital actions. To this end, it recognises that food is the activity that we carry out most frequently in our lives and, therefore, it is essential to have tools for decision-making based on scientific evidence and to avoid the myths and errors that often surround current nutrition. The Group aims to contribute with its projects, research, publications and initiatives to help citizens achieve a diet - Safe, Healthy, Satisfactory, Social, Sustainable and Supportive - for a better quality of life. We keep tight collaborations with several research groups not only from Spain, but also from UK, USA, Greece, among others.
