Competences & Capabilities

Research, including advanced analytics, novel ingredient development, nutrition and health, physical and sensory science, and process technology. Team of scientists connected globally with other Cargill research teams, and Universities and knowledge institutes.

Process and product development, with particular expertise in the areas of (industrial-) starches, polyols, dextrose, proteins, fibers, lipids and Sweeteners (High Intensity Sweeteners and Glucose syrups and maltodextrins) in our Vilvoorde location. In other European locations we focus on oils & fats and cocoa-derivatives (incl Chocolate)

Applications with emphasis on bakery, beverage, confectionery, convenience. Meat& Meat Alternatives and pharma and personal care. Technologists work closely with all Cargill Application Centers across Europe, including the Texture Design center in Baupte (FR) for dairy, frozen desserts, and fruit applications.

Technical Service, providing technical assistance and serving as liaison between Cargill customers and the technical expertise they need.
