Europeans doubt about net benefit of instant grocery delivery services
Are grocery delivery services going to stick with consumers?

An important barrier is the lack of availability (particularly in more rural areas) and the cost of delivery. Furthermore, participants mentioned that they want to see the (fresh) foods before they purchase them, are concerned about the environmental footprint of these deliveries and the increased danger in traffic. Finally, there was also expressed aversion to “laziness” that drives people to use these services.
