Enriching the Future of Food, Together

EIT Food is part of Hub4Food – Atlantic Food Innovation Hub, a European project funded by Interreg Atlantic Area and coordinated by Clusaga (Galician Food Cluster). Officially kicked off on March 12th, 2024, in Santiago de Compostela, this exciting initiative brings together 9 partners from 4 countries, united by a shared mission: to drive innovation, research, and sustainable growth in the Atlantic food sector.

A Cross-Border Collaboration for Food System Transformation

At its core, Hub4Food is a space for co-creation—a hub where agrifood companies, research institutions, clusters and SMEs join forces to tackle the most pressing challenges in the food system.

The project aims to:

  • 🧪 Foster research and innovation tailored to market needs

  • 🌱 Boost sustainability and competitiveness in the food value chain

  • ⚙️ Test and validate new technologies in food production

  • 🤝 Strengthen links between SMEs and research organisations

  • 📣 Raise awareness of food innovation through interactive activities

Through collaborative efforts, Hub4Food will empower local ecosystems and ensure knowledge and innovation circulate effectively across borders.
