Project Timeline

2018:

Our first focus groups were conducted with people from 5 European countries: France, Germany, Poland, Spain and UK. Trust towards specific actors along the food chain was researched: farmers, public authorities, retailers, manufacturers.

2019:

Focus groups were extended to 9 countries. The research team focused on the meaning of trust and ranked the trust towards specific entities in all countries (farmers, public authorities, retailers, manufacturers).

2020:

Citizen Participation Forum involving 178 participants from 13 European countries. See main findings in the report.
