EIT Food Start-Up Awareness Event in North Macedonia

The Institute of Agriculture within the University “Saint Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje is implementing EIT Food Start-Up Awareness Event, funded by EIT Food as a unit of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, supported by the European Union, and it is organizing the “EIT Food Start-Up Awareness Event” in North Macedonia on November 9th and 10th (Tuesday and Wednesday) 2021, in the headquarters of the Institute of Agriculture in Skopje with a physical presence.

The event is planned to be organized in two days, in a way that the first day is going to be organized as a scientific conference and the second day will be performed as interactive training. The conference entitled „Forum for climate change adaptation and start-up opportunities“ will take place on 9th November 2021 (Tuesday) starting at 09:30 and this is where local and regional experts, but also representatives from the state, business and NGO sector, will share their knowledge in the field of sustainable agriculture and climate change through their presentations. The training titled „Green Start-Up Forum“ for the young farmers and students will take place on 10th November 2021 (Wednesday) starting at 09:00h, where they will have the opportunity to learn how to create innovative ideas, how to develop them in a start-up business, and at the end how to present it in front of a potential donor.
