New Call for Organisers: Ignite NEB Event Series & Grow NEB Programme

This opportunity, supported by the EIT Community New European Bauhaus (NEB), including EIT Food, invites organisations or groups to host Ignite New European Bauhaus (NEB) events and assist the Grow NEB programme.

The aim is to provide funding to support initiatives that help social Changemakers turn their ideas into tangible projects that promote systemic change, new lifestyles, and sustainability. The initiative is backed by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Community New European Bauhaus (NEB). Four grants are available, each worth EUR 22,500 for Ignite NEB events, with an additional EUR 20,000 to support Grow NEB teams.

Who Can Apply?

This opportunity is open to both EIT KIC partners and non-partners. Individual organisations or consortia (groups of up to three organisations) can apply. Applicants will be assessed based on their ability to engage diverse audiences, align with NEB objectives, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset. Both public and private entities are eligible, including foundations, universities, local authorities, and more. Applications from EU member states, Horizon Europe Associated Countries, and Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) countries will be considered.


Criteria for Organising Partners

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing NEB-compatible initiatives.
  • Ability to host workshops/events focused on entrepreneurial development.
  • Experience in fostering entrepreneurship and supporting start-ups.
  • Capacity to host Grow NEB programmes.


Supported Activities

Ignite NEB events aim to bring NEB values to life by gathering experts, practitioners, and stakeholders to foster entrepreneurship and innovation. Funding is available for organisers to implement both Ignite NEB events and Grow NEB programmes.


Funding Allocation

Up to EUR 22,500 is available for Ignite NEB events, with an additional EUR 20,000 for the Grow NEB programme. While co-funding is encouraged, it is not compulsory.
