Here we welcome the first 8 newly confirmed Network Partners who share our commitment to improving food together. We look forward to collaborating with our new partners in our mission to create a sustainable and future-proof food sector.

ORA Agricola
ORA Agricola is a vertically integrated poultry company with 70 farms located in north-west Italy. Their business model focuses on expert control of the poultry supply chain and operations covering all steps of the poultry production cycle. This includes feed production, parents, hatcheries, broilers, processing and sale. All of their production system is integrated and certified.

PTC specialises in the isolation, characterisation and production of a virus known as bacteriophage, intended for various applications from farm to fork. For example, a bacteriophage combination specific to fighting Salmonella can be used to keep a primary poultry production shed free of the disease. They have developed a platform technology that allows the scale-up of the production of almost any bacteriophage/host to a scale (100 to 1000 L) that allows commercial applications at a cost acceptable to the market.

NX Food
NX Food are on a mission to enrich and inspire the food system. They foster initiatives to help up-and-coming innovations to gain market traction and turn into legitimate solutions for a sustainable future of food. They encourage innovations in fields such as alternative proteins and vertical farming, to promote sustainable living and move with change.

Neiker-Tecnalia-Institute for Agricultural Research and Development
Neiker is a member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA) and is specialised in the creation of innovative solutions for the agrifood and forestry sectors. They develop new technologies to improve the productivity and management of farms, in order to meet the quality and safety requirements of the agrifood industry and end consumer. They also offer advice and support for projects related to circular bioeconomy, organic farming, food security, phytosanitary reduction, animal welfare, and animal and plant genetic improvement.

E-Seniors is a French non-profit organization aiming to reinforce social inclusion and an autonomous lifestyle for older adults with the help of ICT-tools. They participate in European research projects that develop innovative ICT-tools for older adults and caregivers. Their role is to carry out a proactive target users' involvement in the different research phases and to establish a dialogue between the researchers, scientific and target groups. They also offer ICT-training for seniors and have created a strong local network of older adults. 

Eurofir is an international non-profit association, launched in 2009 with the aim to ensure sustained advocacy for food information in Europe. Their mission is to be an independent broker of validated food composition data and supporting information in Europe and beyond, that facilitates improved data quality, storage and access, and encourages wider applications and exploitation of food composition data for both research and commercial purposes.

Flander’s Food
Flanders’ Food facilitates collaboration between stakeholders throughout the food system, including across the agrifood chain, borders and different sectors. They unite the innovative strengths of companies, knowledge institutes and innovation actors, with the aim to strengthen the competitiveness of the Flemish food industry. They aim to evolve the food system to one where stakeholders mutually influence each other and work together.

International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory
INL is an Intergovernmental Organization located in Braga, Portugal, where scientists and engineers worldwide work in an interdisciplinary environment and strive to make INL a worldwide hub for the deployment of Nanotechnology to address society’s grand challenges. The research program comprises four strategic fields of application of nanoscience and nanotechnology. These are Food and Environment Monitoring, ICT, Renewable Energy, and Health. Their full-fledged nanotechnology laboratory enables leading research of the highest international standard.
