Innovative agrifood entrepreneurs gather in Rome for EWA Masterclass

The session focused on Lean Canvas and pretotyping, providing participants with essential tools to refine and validate their projects.

On September 11, the Future Food Institute, in collaboration with Unfold Tomorrow, organized a hands-on masterclass at the Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti (CTE) in Rome. This event was part of the Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) programme by EIT Food, an initiative aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs in the agrifood sector.

Focus on Lean Canvas and pretotyping

The session provided practical tools for participants to enhance and validate their projects through two key methodologies: Lean Canvas and pretotyping.

The day began with collaborative discussions, during which the entrepreneurs received valuable feedback on their Lean Canvas models. This was followed by an in-depth exploration of pretotyping, a technique that helps innovators quickly and affordably validate their ideas in the real world, reducing the risk of failure when launching new products or services.
