Food 4 Future - Expo Foodtech and EIT Food join forces again to promote innovation in the food industry

Food 4 Future - Expo Foodtech returns to Bilbao, Spain, from May 17 to 19 to accelerate the transformation of the food industry towards a more smart, healthy and sustainable future of food.

The EIT Food Innovation Forum will gather professionals from the entire value chain at Food 4 Future to discuss how targeted nutrition will revolutionise the food industry.

Expo Foodtech, the leading innovation event for professionals across the food value chain, and EIT Food, the world’s largest and most dynamic food innovation community, working to make the food system more sustainable, healthy and trusted, have signed an agreement to boost innovation in the food industry. EIT Food is supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union.

With this collaboration, EIT Food will be a Strategic Partner of Food 4 Future - Expo Foodtech, ratifying its commitment to support the event that drives the transformation of the food industry. Food 4 Future will be held from 17 to 19 May 2022 in Bilbao (Spain) to present the latest solutions in food tech, robotics and automation, food safety and processing and packaging techniques for the different segments of the food industry.

The Food 4 Future World Summit is the largest European congress on technological innovation in the food and beverage industry. This year’s Food 4 Future summit will focus on "The Foodtech Revolution" and will bring together more than 6,000 foodtech industry leaders, with many international visitors, and more than 300 speakers who will lead 50 conferences in 6 auditoriums. As part of Food 4 Future, EIT Food will be organising the EIT Food Innovation Forum, an annual event, which is focused on targeted nutrition.

The director of Food 4 Future - Expo Foodtech, Sergio Fabregat, said:
