Empowering women to innovate in the agrifood sector: AMPLE-ify workshops

EIT Food is excited to announce the AMPLE-ify workshops, a two-day initiative designed to support women in developing innovative ideas and taking their first steps toward entrepreneurship in the agrifood sector. The workshops will take place on March 5-6, 2025, at the Centralny Dom Technologii in Warsaw.

AMPLE-ify workshops, part of the AMPLE Warsaw and EWA – Empowering Women in Agrifood initiatives, aim to equip women with practical tools and knowledge, fostering their potential to drive change and innovation in the agrifood sector. This two-day initiative combine hands-on learning with expert guidance, providing a comprehensive introduction to entrepreneurship in the agrifood sector.

The sessions will be led by Natalia Kupsik, Senior Specialist at the Polish Development Fund (PFR), and include:

Business Ideation workshop:

An intensive four-hour session dedicated to generating innovative business ideas and forming interdisciplinary teams. Participants will engage in creative brainstorming, map challenges in the Agri-tech sector with a focus on the Polish market, and identify areas around which solutions will be developed.

Business Model Canvas workshop:

A practical workshop introducing the Business Model Canvas tool to help participants design their first business models. The session will cover key elements such as value propositions, customer segments, cost structures, and revenue streams, preparing participants for further project development.

In addition to these core workshops, the program will feature:

  • an empowerment session led by Joanna Burnos, founder of LEADERIS Institute, focusing on leadership, confidence-building, and personal growth; 
  • and a session on Innovations and Trends in the Agri-Food Industry by Ewa Karólewska from EIT Food; and 
  • a case study session
